Congratulations to Robbie Morrison for winning the Bloody Scotland Debut Prize for his excellent gangland novel, Edge of the Grave. I was a little disappointed that NO HARM DONE didn’t pick up the prize but, having read all three of the other shortlisted books, I would say the competition was fierce.
The whole run up to the winner announcement has been great fun, from first being told that my book had been shortlisted to the various media events, book signings and the Bloody Scotland Festival itself.
I really enjoyed my visit to the BBC studio in Edinburgh for a chat with Janice Forsyth on the Afternoon Show and the Bloody Scotland Festival kicked off with Janice chairing a panel with all four finalists.
I had a fantastic time and am feeling tremendously motivated to continue writing. Watch out for further announcements on my second Ramaz Donadze novel, NO WAY BACK!
